University of Wyoming Lab School, a K–9 demonstration school that partnered with the University of Wyoming School of Education, modeled the benefits of professional development for both teachers and students.
- Academically outperformed 84% of elementary schools in Wyoming in 2016.
- Charter member of the League of Democratic Schools and a 2014 Ashoka Changemaker School.
- In 2017, 12 Lab School students received Wyoming Congressional Awards for achievement.
