Tatiane Rigonati
Early Childhood Educator
Born and raised in the traditional territories of the Tupi-Guarani-speaking people, also known as São Paulo, Brazil, I am grateful to be a visitor to territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples (Victoria, British Columbia, Canada). I hold a bachelor’s degree in pedagogy and a master of arts in educational studies. As an early childhood educator with years of experience, I currently teach at the Early Learning and Care program at Camosun College. I am a huge advocate of the ongoing need to listen to and welcome children’s voices concerning a more democratic world and early childhood education. In addition to my work, I enjoy reading books, going to museums, and spending time outdoors.
