Ralinda Watts, a native of Los Angeles, is a diversity director, practitioner, and consultant specializing in race, identity, culture, and justice. She is a founding member of the Los Angeles Diversity Director’s Consortium and has designed and curated curriculum, frameworks, and K-12 programs including Sharing Our Stories, Social Symposia, and the Intersections of Identity seminar for ninth graders, centered on identity and belonging. Her work has been featured in numerous publications such as PopSugar, Medium, the Los Angeles Times, and CBS Media, and she is the host of the RalindaSpeaks podcast.
Ralinda earned her M.Ed. from Teachers College, Columbia University, focusing her research on the impact of racial trauma and injustice in schools and beyond. As the founder of the DEI Summit, a professional development gathering for diversity, equity, and inclusion professionals, she continues to advocate for DEI initiatives as a thought leader and visionary.
