
Rachel Meixner
Coordinator of Work-Based Learning, Osseo Area Schools
Rachel Meixner, Ed.D., is a teacher coordinator of work-based learning at Osseo Area Schools and the program director for the Teacher Coordinator of Work-Based Learning Program at Bethel University. Dr. Meixner has a strong interest in empowering all learners and helping students feel seen and valued in educational spaces. She is the author of four books: Why We Stay: The Teacher's Guide to Resilience and Longevity in Education, The Summer Recovery Guide for Teachers, Loving Your Job in Special Education: 50 Tips and Tools, and Supporting Your Child with Special Needs: 50 Fundamental Tools for Families. In addition, Dr. Meixner supports teachers through professional development offerings through the Bureau of Education and Research. In her spare time, Dr. Meixner enjoys spending time with her two children, now young adults, as well as her beloved husband and mischievous dog.
