Maika Yeigh
Professor and Author
Maika Yeigh is an associate professor at Lewis & Clark College, where she works with teacher candidates and supports novice teachers. She is passionate about secondary teacher education, literacy across content areas, and equitable assessment practices. Maika is the president of the Oregon Association of Teacher Educators and the managing editor of the Northwest Journal of Teacher Education. Her first book (coauthored) will be published in January 2026. It‘s titled Equity Grading Unlocked: Practical Strategies from the Classroom.
