Maifa Filion is a primary teacher in Singapore. Passionate about ensuring that children are valued, seen, and heard, Maifa enjoys learning about and practicing culturally sustaining pedagogies that center diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, and belonging. When not teaching, Maifa is a mother to 16-year-old Jack (who keeps her up to date on most things digital) and loves walking in Singapore’s forests.
