Madeleine Rogin

A Change Leader for Ashoka’s Start Empathy Initiative and Changemaker Schools Network, Madeleine Rogin has been an educator of young children for over 15 years. She currently teaches kindergarten and dance at Prospect Sierra School in El Cerrito, California. Madeleine received national recognition for developing the Peaceful Changemakers Curriculum as a way of teaching about Martin Luther King Jr. and social justice to young children. She received a BA in urban education and writing from the New School for Social Research, an MA in dance from the University of New Mexico, and an MA in educational leadership from the Bay Area Teacher Training Institute.
