Jessica Wei Huang

Jessica Huang is an educator and school leader with 20+ years of experience as a classroom teacher, school administrator, and leadership coach/facilitator, 17 of those years spent as a teacher and then principal at the June Jordan School for Equity in San Francisco Unified School District. She has a wide range of knowledge on how to build equitable school communities through her on-the-ground work in schools and her support and coaching of educator leaders and teams.

Jessica believes in building healing-centered, student-focused spaces where students of all backgrounds can thrive. Jessica has a Bachelor’s of Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Master’s of Education from Stanford University. Her experience in both the public school system in the U.S. and in international schools equips her to lead in a wide variety of cultural contexts. Jessica was formerly the vice principal of Wellness and Wellbeing at United World College of South East Asia in Singapore, and a biology teacher and internship coordinator for the Future Leaders program at KAS. She is currently located in San Francisco, where she recently served as the director of principal leadership and support for the San Francisco Unified School District.

Jessica’s consulting work focuses on leadership coaching and on educational-equity-focused professional development with schools, districts, independent, and international schools.
