
Dustin Perez
5th Grade Science Teacher
Dustin Perez is a fifth-grade science teacher in Porter, Texas. He serves as the campus UIL coordinator, leads his campus Science committee, and founded Discovery Science Nights, an after-school program connecting science professionals with the community. He also coaches gaga ball, teaches at his district STEM camp, and is a member of his district's Science Academic Leadership Team, where he helps develop curriculum and trains teachers. He is the vice-chair of Science Education for the Texas Academy of Science. He holds a M.Ed. from UH-Victoria, where he was honored as the Outstanding Graduate Student of his graduating class.
